How has technology changed education?

As we know technology has brought radical changes in almost all areas of life and education does not lag behind. Education is a crucial part of our lives, existing since the beginning of it and for sure it has not been as it is today. When students wanted to get information about something, they searched for it  in different books, which took them a lot of time. They did so because it was the only way; since they had not access in technology devices. Today it is more easier , with only one click thay have ready whatever they are looking for. It does not require too much effort and it is not a waste of time. When a student does not understand something , does not have to go and ask for the teacher, he/she can write an email asking them for what they do not understand. Students can take the advantage to ask their professor questions at any time , rather than waiting for the next class , when the question is no longer fresh in their minds. On the other hand students and teachers do not have the possibility to have a face to face consideration and it will be difficult to start a proper discussion.

Nowadays a lot of schools provide students with a laptop or a tablet. Teachers are using technology to repalce old models of rote learning and creating more personalized experiences for their students. Learning is becoming more virtual than it has been and most of the information that only teachers possesed in the past, is now available for all the students.
So, all of us have to fit to these changes that are happening and do our best to make it easier for our students to understand and work on them.

Thank you, and feel free to add your comments:)

  3. I agree that all of us have to adapt to the changes and innovations in technology and that old models should be replaced with new models more adapted to technology. A really nice post!
